With our team of Philly connoisseurs, we took it upon ourselves to help attendees from all over the world prep for their stay in the city of brotherly love with a series of posts outlining our favorite local tips, tricks, and recommendations.
Need a place to stay after Philly’s Affiliate Summit East? We can’t really offer you a couch to crash on (sorry), but we can certainly recommend some places with much more comfortable sleeping arrangements. Read on for our top recommended hotels for this year’s Affiliate Summit East.

The Westin Philadelphia

If you like to work out, the Westin is right up your alley. Hit the fitness center, or ask the front desk to sign you up for a 3 or 5 mile group run through the city. Like to pack light? No problem. Leave your gym clothes at home and rent them for five bucks from the hotel. When you’re ready to relax, step under your rainfall shower head, then fall into a bed so cozy the Westin actually offers them for sale.
Hotel Palomar
117 S 17th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103

The Palomar hotel will hook you up with whatever you need, and most of the perks have no additional cost. Enjoy complimentary daily newspapers, coffee and tea every morning, fitness center with free yoga equipment, and a slew of travel essentials that guests commonly forget to pack. Mingle with locals during wine hour (5-6 PM every night), then retire to your room, which features an exceptional view of the city.

You might never want to leave this chic hotel, which often has guests extend their stays for weeks, or even months. Nestled in bustling Rittenhouse Square, AKA caters to “elastic living,” or out-of-town guests who looking to sink their teeth into the city. The 24-hour concierge knows all the local hotspots and can get you on the list for a slew of events. And with an award-winning restaurant boasting the best wine list in the city, you just might get tipsy enough to add another day or two to your trip.
Hyatt at the Bellevue
200 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19102

Considering its luxurious, historical ambience, the Hyatt at the Bellevue is basically your modern day castle. The building, which was built around the turn of the century, features ornate architecture and grand style décor, including a super swanky chandelier and Victorian statues in the common areas.
At Broad and Walnut Streets, you’ll be right in the heart of Center City (and close to both Philadelphia subways, so you can travel almost anywhere in the city). There’s also a pretty decent sports bar downstairs.

Four Points by Sheraton

Four Points hotels are all about free stuff. Free WiFi, free bottled water, and even free cookies (according to one user on Yelp, at least). Plus, it’s just a few steps away from the summit. The fitness center downstairs comes equipped with weights, bikes, treadmills, and ellipticals. If working up a sweat on vacay isn’t really your thing, hit the lounge and knock back a couple of quality Craft beers, chosen by the hotel’s designated Chief Beer Officer of their exclusive Best Brew’s Program. When you’re ready to hit the hay, you’ve got fluffy pillows and a 32″ LCD TV waiting to whisk you away to dreamland.
Loews Philadelphia Hotel

The Loews Philadelphia Hotel is located in the PSFS building, one of Philadelphia’s most iconic structures. Originally built in the early 1930s by the nation’s oldest bank, the 33-story building was the first International style skyscraper erected in the US. Loews Hotel has preserved much of the building’s original design, including the lobby and main banking room. But not everything here is a throwback to yesteryear. There’s a free fitness center, 20-meter heated pool, and full-service spa all at your fingertips.
Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia Center City

If you’re the type whose ideal trip is equal parts business and pleasure, the Hilton Garden Inn is right up your alley. Tap into the hotel’s complimentary WiFi, and print documents remotely for free. Hit the 24-hour Pavilion Pantry® convenience mart for snacks at any hour, or brew some coffee in your room if you’re working late on a project. The fitness center and indoor heated pool are great ways to stay active, and when you’re ready to unwind, kick back in the hotel sauna (or kick butt with your in-room video game console). Make sure to stop by the Tenth Floor Grill, where you’ll see stunning views of the city through gigantic, floor-to-ceiling windows. And if that’s not enough to fill up your itinerary, the Gallery Mall connected to the hotel is home to over 100 stores and restaurants.
Philadelphia Marriott Downtown

We’re ranking the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown #1, primarily because they have the ASE hookup. Not only is the hotel connected to the Convention Center by a bridge, but it also has a block of rooms reserved for ASE attendees from June 16-20. The special group rate is $169/night (plus tax and service fees), but hurry! This deal is only available until July 19, or until the group block is sold out.
